ABSTRACT
In this chapter, I will focus on the links between femininity, obsession and suicidality, and to explore these connections I will present an illustrative case example from which I shall develop some theoretical considerations. However, in order to put these discussions in context I will begin by taking a brief look at the connection between suicide and gender from an historical research perspective.
