ABSTRACT
This chapter details the experiences of six refugees1 all currently or recently studying in a UK university. It outlines the barriers they have faced in attempting to integrate into the university and the practical approaches we suggest for meeting their needs. Quotes from other refugees who have studied at our own university are also included to illustrate the barriers faced by many refugees in attempting to study at UK universities.
