ABSTRACT
Most of the difficulties arising from MIB cases relate to the procedural hurdles that have to be overcome once proceedings have been issued. To reduce the likelihood of such difficulties potentially damaging the claimant’s ability to obtain his rightful compensation, attempts should be made to settle such claims
avoided.
