ABSTRACT
The following notes are for the guidance of those who may have a claim on the Motor Insurers’ Bureau under the Agreement, and of their legal advisers, but they must not be taken as rendering unnecessary a careful study of the Agreement itself. Communications on any matter connected with the Agreement should be addressed to Motor Insurers’ Bureau whose address is 152 Silbury Boulevard, Central Milton Keynes MK9 1NB. On the date of coming into force of the Road Traffic Act 1988 references to the provisions of the Road Traffic Act 1972 are by virtue of section 2(4) of the Road Traffic (Consequential Provisions) Act 1988 to be read as reference to the corresponding provisions of the Road Traffic Act 1988.
