ABSTRACT
In addition to the control by way of judicial review, control is also imposed by the Council on Tribunals, established as a result of the Franks Committee Report in 1957 by the Tribunals and Inquiries Act 1958. This Act has subsequently been amended by the Act of 1971, and both have been replaced by the 1992 Act of the same title.
