ABSTRACT
This technique has a number of advantages for all parties. Firstly, the resulting award, which would be deemed to have been made under the auspices of s 51 of the Arbitration Act 1996, is enforceable through the courts on the basis of it being an arbitral award (see s 66 of the Arbitration Act 1996).
