C:C Newsreels, comedy, drama. A fair amount of rarely screened footage is held, including newsreel, drama and comedies. Newsreel material: scenes from many countries, including the UK from 1900; Germany from pre-World War II; India, private footage, 1950s; Egypt, pre-World War II; China, c.l925; USA, various; Australia and France, and from the early part of the century. Drama and comedies: mainly from Britain, USA and France from the start of the century.
