Fire Dampers are a device for preventing the passage of smoke and flame through ventilation ducts and bulkhead penetrations.
These devices are subject to rules by Legislative Authorities.
This paper is written for personnel specifically involved in the Safety, Loss Prevention and Heating and Ventilation disciplines which interfaces with electrical, instrumentation and architechtural departments.
