ABSTRACT
If professional work is suspended or terminated at intermediate stages, abortive fees become payable for the time spent by the professional on the job up to the time the work was stopped.
Bills should be paid promptly. The Contractor must be paid within 14 days of issue of the Contract Administrator’s certificate. No monies are paid ‘on account’, nor are subcontractors employed by the builder paid directly.
