ABSTRACT
The hope of understanding and predicting marital and sexual behaviour and attitudes in terms of individual differences in personality is an old and venerable goal. This chapter attempts to show that the models generally used to date to accomplish this goal are inadequate. Suggestions for more adequate research are provided.
