ABSTRACT
Many factors must work together in order for an evaluation to be successful. Defining its purpose, formulating key questions, careful data collection and analysis, and clear jargon-free writing are all critical. The one aspect of carrying out an evaluation that I have found to be most intriguing, however, is the act of communication between evaluators and program managers.
