ABSTRACT
What is science? The teacher can share this question with the children prior to the study of any new science topic and it will help to involve them directly in their own learning from the outset. Children’s responses can be discussed, displayed and revisited after any activity. It is useful to look at definitions from a range of sources, shown in Figure 7.1.
