ABSTRACT
In a volume that honours Wolfgang Stroebe it is absolutely necessary to acknowledge his active membership for almost 30 (30!) years in a group that was founded to practise interdisciplinary work. How did this group come into being? How does the group engage in interdisciplinary work? These are the major questions that are addressed in this chapter.
