ABSTRACT
Recently, I (Rabinowitz) had the opportunity to spend a month during each of three consecutive summers at the Max-Planck Institute for Psychological Research in Munich, Germany. I was excited by this opportunity and each summer, prior to my trip, I set many goals that I hoped to accomplish during my visit. One goal was to learn to speak German.
