ABSTRACT

It was in 1889 that the first purely Slav cave society was formed, a group called Anthron whose main discoveries were in the Postojna system. It cooperated closely with foreign explorers and E.A.Martel carried out his 1893 Postojna work with its members as well as with Kraus and Putick.
