ABSTRACT
Tremor and ataxia may each vary between the extremes of severity from being barely perceptible to causing gross disability. In general, both interfere with fine control of any motor activity and thus may impair speech, limb functions, posture, stance, and gait. Although they may coexist, this is unusual and thus tremor and ataxia will be discussed separately.
