ABSTRACT
Appeal from the youth court against conviction and/or sentence lies to the Crown Court. The only difference from appeals from magistrates’ courts is that, in the case of an appeal from the youth court, the Crown Court comprises a circuit judge or recorder and lay justices drawn from the youth court panel.
