ABSTRACT
The proceedings should be served by fixing a copy of the documents on the main door or other conspicuous part of the premises and, if practicable, inserting them through the letter box at the premises in a sealed transparent envelope addressed to ‘the occupiers’ (PD 55, para 4). Additionally, but not alternatively, the applicant can fix copies of the documents, in sealed transparent envelopes, on stakes in the ground at conspicuous parts of the premises (PD 55, para 4).
