ABSTRACT
If the claimant’s only remedy is a specified sum of money and the defendant admits liability for part of the sum claimed, he should complete Form N9A and file it at court within 14 days of service of the particulars of claim indicating the amount he admits he is liable for (PD 14, para 3.2).25 The defendant may also file a defence26 as to the rest of the claim (PD 14, para 3.3).
