ABSTRACT

The application2 must be supported by written evidence stating the grounds on which the application is made and the relevant provisions of r 6.20, contain confirmation that the claimant believes that the claim has a reasonable chance of success; and the defendant’s address or the place where he is likely to be found if his address is not known (r 6.21(1)). A complete set of documents must be provided for each party to be served out of the jurisdiction. These include a copy of the particulars of claim if not already included on the claim form, the claim form, the forms for responding to the claim and any translation that may be required by the courts (PD 6B, para 2.1).
