ABSTRACT
The chest X-ray will reveal some of the disorders which involve the lungs, eg pneumonia, a pneumothorax, a pleural effusion, etc. As far as cardiovascular disease is concerned, a chest X-ray will help in the diagnosis of disorders such as cardiac failure or a dissecting aortic aneurysm.
