ABSTRACT
On the thirteenth of September 1993, a historical document was signed between the Palestinian Liberation Organization and the State of Israel. Known as the “The Declaration of Principles,” the document aimed, among other things, to “put an end to decades of confrontation and conflict” and to “establish a Palestinian Interim Self-Government Authority…for the Palestinian people in the West Bank and Gaza Strip” (The Declaration of Principles Document).
