ABSTRACT
The bell shaped curve is well known. The term refers to any graph that resembles the one above in the following features.
1. The graph has a single high point, or maximum. 2. The graph is symmetrical around that maximum. 3. From the maximum the graph drops off to 0 in both
directions, at first slowly, then dropping rapidly, and then leveling off as it approaches 0.
