ABSTRACT

Teachers wanting to take their game to a new level are hungry for what this book offers: tips for effective teaching, that is, teaching that informs, stimulates, energizes, and even entertains. Nowhere are best practice tips more needed than in that most important of psychology courses-introductory psychology. This course provides the introductory gateway to other psychology courses. More importantly, it is the course taken annually, in North America alone, by some 1.5 million nonmajors, most of whom will never take another psychology course.
