ABSTRACT

The purpose of this publication is to put together in a single volume a practitioner’s guide to the main areas of commercial law as they apply to companies engaged in technological innovation. While the Irish common law remains remarkably short of technology law precedents, this is in stark contrast to the significant amount of domestic and supra-national legislation which has emerged in recent years to colour the legal landscape. There is now a sufficient body of technology-related law to merit specific attention and this publication seeks to address this need.
