ABSTRACT

Issues surrounding gender and morality have attracted considerable interest over the past two decades, not only within the field of moral psychology, where they have been a central preoccupation, but also across the social sciences, humanities, and, indeed, in broader society. Much of the heated debate has subsided in recent years, and it would now seem to be an appropriate time to review where we stand in regard to these issues. That is the intent of this chapter.
