ABSTRACT

Life in a post-9/11 world has changed us all to one degree or another. Friends tell us that the events of 9/11 have been a factor in personal decisions to get married (or divorced), have a child, join a church, or take a new job. We listen to the news and feel vulnerable and anxious when we are told to “stay alert.” We need to do something, but we struggle to know what. We begin to learn about new enemies and feel a new sense of fear about the future.
