ABSTRACT
My discussion in this chapter focuses on technologies aimed at the maintenance and restoration of the body’s well-being. More precisely, I look at certain types of technology, such as health care equipment, medical scientific instruments, and equipment for analysis, diagnosis, therapy, surgery, rehabilitation, and support.
