Look around the room tonight and make eye contact: with the people who have assisted you, with those who have come to you for assistance, and for friends who have been around during the gestation of ideas. Speak to those people tonight, say thanks. Ask others tonight to tell you a tale of mentoring. Gossip, if you will, to identify those who should be recognized in future events like this one.
