ABSTRACT
Technical communicators have long searched for the answers to a number of major questions. Even though all the questions and problems have been well known for many years and are an essential part of the territory within which technical communications toil, technical communicators have not devoted much time to working on them. These questions may be summarized as follows:
1. How should our choice of presentation techniques and forms of information vary for the following?
