ABSTRACT
The NFDC welcomed their two new members, Barbara Mooney and Monica Moore, who were replacing Carole Holtmann and Dorothee Riederer. As was now usual, the group started by sharing their narratives. Here is Sheila’s narrative:
After the narratives were completed, Catherine, who was facilitating this meeting, reviewed the agenda for the group. Then Jackie, accompa nied by many other NFDC members, told the history of the group to its new members:
Jackie: Ready for history? About the first of September I found this memo in my mailbox at school from my head, who was on the original Experienced Teachers Committee. (Jackie with help from Catherine, described the work the Experienced Teachers Committee had done in the mid 1980s.)
