ABSTRACT
Not long after the ELCA Churchwide Assembly in Orlando, I had several invitations to speak to adult Sunday school classes at various Lutheran Churches in Minneapolis. I found it interesting that my home church made no such request. Pastor Howard Skulstad later told me he didn’t want to reopen the issue, but also confided that some of those most vehemently opposed to homosexuals had resigned from the church.
