ABSTRACT

I was born in the “home for single mothers” in Hergiswil, Switzerland on September 3, 1950. The name my mother gave me was Armin, which means “savior of the poor.” Before that, my mother had a short affair with a man called Bruno who already had a daughter and a son of his own with another woman. He withheld this information until my mother was pregnant. She felt deceived and separation was inevitable.
