ABSTRACT

I started having sex with guy friends when I was around thirteenearlier if you count the sexual game playing during my preteens. With girl friends I experimented with sex in my late teens and early twenties, but always found nonsexual friendship more satisfying with them. Having sex with guys made a lot of sense to me because it was an extension of our friendship, a logical move when the line between “like” and “love” became blurred. Using playground logic, I believed that when it came to guys, sex signified the closest possible friendship, and I was prepared to have a lot of close friends. More was better, which to me meant more sex equaled more friends.
