ABSTRACT
This chapter explores how child/teacher and parent/teacher conferencing can support children’s personal and social development in the primary school. The chapter outlines the processes involved in PSD conferencing, drawing on case study material. The chapter ends with a discussion of some of the issues that arise for children, parents and teachers when using conferencing to promote and assess PSD.
