ABSTRACT
Purpose These units are designed to dispose of organic food waste electro-mechanically within seconds and fl ush the residue into the drain. The unit should dispose of all types of food waste, preloaded or fed continuously, but metal, rags and plastic objects should not be placed in the disposer. Food waste is therefore hygienically ‘destroyed’ at the sink.
