ABSTRACT
The first aim of establishing the European Federation of Chinese Organisations [EFCO] is that we intend to use it to raise the status of the overseas Chinese vis-à-vis the European Communities; 1 the second is to claim the benefits and infrastructure due to us overseas Chinese from the European Communities. Since there are more than a million overseas Chinese in Europe … as an overseas Chinese association, of course we will protect the benefits and other interests of the overseas Chinese in all of Europe.
