Dhū '1-Kifl (Ar.) One of the prophets mentioned by name in the Qur'ān: see v.85 of Sūrat al-Anbiyā' (q.v.) and v.48 of Sūrat Sād (q.v.). He has been variously identified with Hizqīl (=Ezekiel) and a Bishr, son of Ayyūb, but other identifications have been made as well.
