Argentina: Growth, Height, and Crisis of Teachers’ Opposition to Neoliberal Reforms 1991–2001

The neoliberal agenda appeared in Argentina together with the last military dictatorship (1976-1983). The fi nal dictatorship had an important social, political, and economic role. Drastic repression marked an era of increasingly open markets and shrinking internal industrialization and market expansion.
