ABSTRACT

Th is book is the culmination of seven years’ work among six women. Over the course of our years together, we discovered how working together provided deeper insights into the phenomena related to educators’ activist interests. Picking up where the brief introduction of methodology in chapter 1 ends, this chapter details our methodological processes, designed to be useful for articulating the benefi ts of collaborative qualitative inquiry. Th is chapter elaborates how this book is derived from systematic, in-depth, exploratory research, demonstrating that there are ways to manage the ambitious and at times overwhelming adventure of multiresearcher, multicase inquiry.
