ABSTRACT

This is a preliminary case study report of an action research of a larger project of the School of Foundations in Education on Teaching and Learning. The project was coordinated by David Grossman and Ming-Fai Hui. Nine colleagues from different departments were involved in investigating their own teaching, within the following general aims:

How do we procedurally establish a sustainable process of free and r open dialogue with students about how to improve the quality of their learning? What type of evidence do we need to gather to support students’ self-r evaluation of the learning and the development of our teaching?
