ABSTRACT
Tim Nguyen is a 25-year-old, heterosexual Vietnamese American man who lives in a large Midwestern city. Tim and his 20-year-old sister, Terri, were born and raised in the United States; their parents were immigrants from Vietnam. Tim’s father passed away soon after Terri’s birth; both Tim and Terri were raised by their mother. Terri is a college student who lives on campus in the same city as Tim does. Tim lives with his mother and grandmother and works as a cashier in a supermarket.
