ABSTRACT
Murdoch University School of Law participated in the prestigious Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot for the first time in 2007. The Fourteenth Moot was held in Vienna, Austria from Friday, 30 March to Thursday, 5 April 2007. Willem С. Vis (1924–1993) was a world-recognised expert in international commercial transactions and dispute settlement procedures. Murdoch University was one of 178 law schools throughout the world that participated in the Moot. The team consisted of Samereh Aljanabi, Marina De Kwant, David Jenaway, Courtney Robertson and Johanna Weaver. They were coached by Professor Gabriël A. Moens, Dean, Murdoch University School of Law.
