ABSTRACT
Editor’s note: This chapter is written from the perspective of an engineering consultant with first-hand experience in dealing with both station engineers and regulatory agency representatives. The intention of the discussion herein is to raise the awareness of broadcast engineers to a point where much of the initial contact with regulatory agencies can be handled by station representatives, saving the consultant’s time and costs for more serious activities.
