ABSTRACT
The revival of economic relationships between two previously segmented economies or groups of economies raises a series of questions concerning the nature and pattern of their potential economic relations. Economic relations between countries or groups of countries refer to a wide spectrum of factors including the trading of goods and services (which is sometimes surprisingly seen as the main if not the only aspect to be taken into account) and factors of production (which attract less attention).
