ABSTRACT

Phil McNally is well known today in the stereoscopic production community in Hollywood. Since 2008, McNally has been the Stereoscopic Supervisor at DreamWorks Animation (DWA) in California, where he has overseen 3D production on such films as Monsters vs. Aliens (2009), How to Train Your Dragon (2010), Shrek Forever After (2010), and Megamind (2010), among other 3D films. Prior to that, McNally handled stereoscopic production at Industrial Light and Magic (ILM) in 2005 on Disney’s Chicken Little 3D, the film that launched the era of digital 3D cinema. He subsequently worked at Disney, where he oversaw the 3D pipeline for Meet the Robinsons (2007) before moving to Dreamworks.
