ABSTRACT

A daily log should be kept of the shooting, in shooting order. This should consist of the roll numbers, the slate number or timecode, the scene and the takes. This could prove very useful if you need to refer to a specific shot and only know that it was Slate 63. A copy should be sent to the editor at the end of each day’s shooting with the good takes circled to facilitate digitising the rushes into the computer prior to editing. https://www.niso.org/standards/z39-96/ns/oasis-exchange/table">
