ABSTRACT
To reset preferences in Photoshop, depress and hold down three keys immediately after you start the program. Position your fingers over Shift Ctrl Alt [Shift Option Command], click to boot the application, and then depress the three keys. You will be asked whether you want to delete your prefs for Photoshop; choose Yes, so we all have the same default Adobe prefs. You will next be asked if you wish to customize your color settings. This is very important for how your monitor displays color, but we will configure this in the next chapter. For now, choose No.
