Q. What is the most important consideration when you fi rst approach a design situation?
Paul Dexter To see that the artist and management are presented with a series of presentation ideas that will visually
help them understand precise design direction. It is similar to a feasibility study in business. It creates a foundation to work from. Once I have confi dence that my design has been clearly communicated and the artists and management sign off on it, the real work to develop that idea can be started. I know that I am not wasting my time or theirs, and together we accomplish that because we have established a clear direction fi rst.
