You're probably now at the stage of having composed a piece of music and are ready to give it a hearing. Perhaps your college has arranged for a workshop at which you can hear your work sympathetically rehearsed. Or you might have responded to a composition competition or another performance opportunity. There are various practical aspects of presenting your score and set of parts to performers that will encourage goodwill towards you, the developing composer.
